OPENING OF CONFERENCE [BV TELEGRAPH —rRESS ASSOCIATION] NEW PLYMOUTH. Friday The conference of the New Zealand Hug by Referees' Association opened at New Plymouth to-day. The afternoon was occupied by a welcome to the delegates, and an address on the rules of Rugby by tho chairman of the executive, Mr. D. McKenzie.
