CREW OF SAMPAN
DESTITUTE JAPANESE BRISBANE, April 8 Thirty-one Japaneso arrived at Thursday Island in four small boat*. They are the crew of the sampan Fukujyu Maru, which was wrecked ■ last Friday about 150 milis south of Cape York. They were immediately taken in charge by the Customs authorities. The men are all destitute and cannot speak English.
