MEXICAN LINE PLUNGE INTO RAVINE BRIDGE BLOWN UP FIFTY DEATHS FEARED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received April 8, 5.45 p.m.) VERA CRUZ, April 7 The wrecking of an express train bound from Vera Cruz to Mexico City, by the bombing of a bridge near Paso del Macho, is feared to have resulted in 50 deaths when the train plunged into a deep'ravine last night.
A group of unknown men,-believed J;o be rebels against the Government, is said to have been responsible for the bombing. Several important Mexican political figures were on board the train, including candidates for the impending elections of Governors.
