WHAKATANE INTERESTS
Mrs. R. S. Kirkpatrick, of Auckland, is a visitor to Whakatane. Mrs. R. Gallien, of Hastings, is on a holiday visit to Whakatane. Mrs. Arthur Read, of Auckland, formerly of Whakatane, is visiting the distript and is accompanied by her husband. Mrs. H. R. Robinson, of Wellington, formerly of Whakatane, is the guest of Mrs W. J. Baxter. Mrs. W. F. S. O'Shaughnessy, of Wanganui, and Miss E. Page, of Mount Albert, who have been spending a holiday with Mrs. C. E. Gibberd, McAllister Street, Whakatane, have left for Auckland. Mrs. C. E. Darvill, of Taihape, is on a visit to Whakatane and is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Darvill, Commerce Street.
