EDUCATION CONFERENCE

MEETINGS IN ENGLAND NEW ZEALAND DELEGATES [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Saturday Delegates to the international conferences that are to be held in England this year were appointed by the Senate of the University of New Zealand at its meeting yesterday. The pro-chancellor, Mr. H. F. von Haast, was appointed the fourth delegate of the university to attend the conference of universities of the British Empire in London next July. Other delegates, Professor H. G. Denham, Mr. H. J. D. Mahon and the London agent of the university, Dr. J. A. Harrop. were appointed by the Senate at its last meeting. Professor Denham and Mr. Mahon were appointed delegates to the seventh ivorkl conference of the New Education Fellowship, which will be held in Cheltenham in August. Dr. Harrop and Dr. W. P. Morrell wore appointed delegates to the Anglo-American conference of historians to be held in London next July.
