FLIGHT TO CAPETOWN
LLEWELLYN MISBING ABSENCE OF NEWS (Received February 28, 6.5 p.m.) BULAWAYO, Feb. 27 No news has been received from Flying-Officer DaVid Llewellyn, who was on a flight from England to Capetown, since he was reported to have left Dodo/na, Tanganyika, on Monday. Flying-Officer David Llewellyn, who in November made a record flight from Africa to England, left Hanworth for Capetown on February 6 in a midget aeroplane with a 12 horse-power engine and a cruising speed of 85 miles an hour. He wanted to demonstrate that long-distance flying is within the means of everyone. I
