FLEMINGTON CONTESTS SIRES' PRODUCE STAKES DRAW FOR POST POSITIONS (Received February 28. 7.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Feh. 28 An interesting feature of the draw for post positions in the Sires' Produce Stakes at Flemington to-morrow is that the only three New Zealand-bred acceptors, Limond Lad, Ilium and Gold Rod, halve drawn two, three and four respectively. Thus sons of Limond, Iliad and Chief Ruler will line up be-: side each other in the classic. The Taee is popularly expected to be a match between Gold Rod and the unbeaten Sydney filly Fidelity. Gay Blonde has drawn No. 1 post j position in the Newmarket Handicap, which is run down the straight six.
