FA WJpyjELL TO RESIDENTS . Parishioners of St. John's Anglican Q»iri;h, *Te Awamutu, this week tendered a farewell social to Mr. and Mrs. H. Y; who, after 36 years' residence in Ts Awamutu, will depart soon to reside at Takapuna. Mr. Collins has offices in the church, and Mi£. Collins has a record of over. 30 years as teacher and superintendent of fhe Sunday School, besides many other activities. Both have also taken prominent iiarte in the social and musical life of. T-b Awamutu. Gifts from the congregation were a Westminster chiming clock, crystal ware and a standard lamp. Mr. Collins, in his reply, said be was not entirely severing his associations with Te Awamutu, as he would be back from time io time.
