ANGLICAN REUNION
The annual reunion of the parishioners of the Paparoa Anglican parochial district, which includes many outlying settlements, was celebrated on Tuesday. A garden party had been arranged at the vicarage grounds, but owing to unsettled weather the gathering was moved to the Garrison Hall, where a very pleasant time was spent. Mr. and Mrs. Bidling and Mrs. Gray (Maungaturoto) rendered orchestral music and Mr. Will iams gave an exhibition of doll dancing performed by his friend "Oswald." Afternoon tea was dispensed. Stalls for cakes, sweets and produce, and a variety stall contributed to the proceeds, which are to be devoted to the pinking fund established to assist church finances.
