RECORDS NOT AVAILABLE Charged with failing to have his wages and time book open for inspection, Harold Victor Tullett, proprietor of the Worker Printery, appeared in the Police Court yesterday. Inspector H. E. Price, of the Labour Department, said that Tullett employed an apprentice to whom he owed arrears of wages. Witness could not ascertain the amount, as defendant's records were not available.' Tullett had promised to produce the wages and time book, but had failed to do so.
Although the printery was situated in the Trades Hall, said Inspector Pricej it had no connection with the Labour Trades Hall or trades union movement. The premises were merely rented from the Trades Hall trustees.
The magistrate fined Tullett £3 and costs;
