MISSING MAN'S FATE
RESIDENT OF CAMBRIDGE BODY FOUND IN RIVER [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Friday The body of Mr. Hnrry Cropley, aged about 45, of Cambridge, who had been missing since Saturday, was recovered {his afternoon from tho Waikato River a short distance below the new Fairfield Bridge. The body had been seen by one of the workmen on tho bridge, who inw mediately notified the police. Mr. Cropley, who was a mercer, came to Cambridge about five months ago and purchased a business. He attended his shop in the usual way on Saturday morning and was last seen in the streets in the early afternoon. His clothes were found in the vicinity of the Duke Street Wharf on Sunday evening and his bathing suit was missing from his bedroom.
