TRADE AGREEMENT
BRITAIN AND FREE STATE LOSSES TO BOTH EXCHEQUERS (Received February 27, 5.5 p.m.) DUBLIN. Feb. 26 In the Dail Eireann the Minister of Finance, Mr. Sean McEntee, moving the second reading of the bill to confirm the orders in connection with th© Anglo-Irish trade agreement made recently, said the British and Free State Exchequers would lose through it £BOO,OOO and £200,000 respectively in duties, but both would gain considerably from the agreement. Without prejudice to other Anglo-Irish issues, it was an expression of a cordial desire to trade.
