CONVERSION OF CAR
INCIDENT IN THE CITY A charge of unlawfully converting to his own use a motor-car valued at £219, the property of Norman Wong l)oo, was admitted in the Police Court yesterday bv William Morrison, aged 33. Sub-Inspector Fox said that complainant left his car in Victoria Lane, City, on Monday afternoon, and, on two occasions, accused asked men in the vicinity to assist him in starting the vehicle Accused did not have the starting key, and one of the men became suspicious. The magistrate, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, remanded accused for a week for sentence.
