Mrs. G. Vosper, of Cambridge, is at the Central Hotel. Miss Joyce Gooding, Vauxhall Road, Devonport, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Sydney Thorne George, Renuiera Road, has returned from a visit to Poverty Bay. Mrs. W. Olliver, of Takapuna, will leave by the Mataroa from Wellington next week to reside in England. Mrs. Steve Lovell, of Mount Albert, left yesterday on a motor tour of the North. Sho will spend three weeks at Opononi. Mrs. F. Fish and Miss Blair Mason, Ascot Avenue, Devonport, have left for Dunedin, where they will spend a few months. Miss Northey, who has been the guest of her aunt, Mrs. W. G. Otter, Grange Road, Mount Eden, has left for her home in Melbourne. Mrs. A. R. Brewer and Miss Nellie Brewer, of Christchurch, are visiting Auckland as the guests of Mrs. G. Halford, of St. Heliers Bay. Mrs. H. F. Thronsen and Miss Ellie fhronsen, Remuera Road, have returned to their homo after spending two months at Clifton Road, Takapuna. Mrs. J. M. Wilson and Miss Gay Wilson, Portland Road, Remuera, and Miss Denise Wootten, Remuera Road, have returned from a cruise to the Great Barrier and Kawau. At the Grand Hotel are Mrs. W. Gray Young (Wellington), Mrs. J. N. Lamb, Mrs. E. Potter and Mrs. L. Stevens (Christchurch), Mrs. J. Edmondson and Mrs. R. M. Chadwick (Napier). At Cargen Hotel are Mrs. F. B. Young (Wellington), Mrs. C. J. Hawken and Miss Hawken (Mokoia), Mrs. Rutherford (Stratford). Mrs. James Hogg and Mrs. H. Halliday (Dunedin). At the Station Hotel are Mrs. S. McLclland and Mrs. W. Thomas (Timaru). Mrs. J. Hamilton (Christchurch), Mrs. C. Gardner (Hawera), Mrs. H. Young (Wellington), Miss A. Jones (Waimate). In view of their departure this week for a trip abroad, opportunity was taken on Saturday, at the United Croquet Club's lawns, to present Mrs. Oswald and Miss Brown with the trophies won by them in club competitions. The ladies were also the recipients of gifts from individual members as tokens of esteem and kindness received. ___
