ST. PETER'S SCHOOL
THE OFFICIAL OPENING MANY GUESTS PRESENT An event of outstanding importance, the official opening of St. Peter's School, Cambridge, took place on Saturday afternoon. The guests, who numbered about 800. were received by the joint headmasters, Mr. A. F. B. Broadhurst and the Rev. J. M. Beaufort, and assembled at 2 o'clock on the lawn under the beautiful canopy of trees. Following the opening and dedication ceremonies afternoon tea was served in the dining hall. The hostess, Miss C. M. Sutton, wore a frock of beige lace with brown relief and a brown hat; Mrs. A. W. Averill was in brown and ivory coinspotted ensemble and hat to tone; Mrs. J. G. Coates, floral georgette and black hat; Mrs. H. C. Luseombe, floral ninon and small blue hat; Miss D. M. Leetham, brown frock and pink hat; Miss E. Whimpers, floral georgette and black hat; Miss L. M. Talbot, blue selfpatterned cotello and white hat; and Miss R. G. Wilkie, navy and white ensemble and navy hat.
