YIELDS OF COMPANIES Waipapa Beach (Southland). —4joz. for 120 hours' dredging. For some time past, while conditions have been favourable, the dredge has been trying out a piece of ground outside the claim. This ground has not proved satisfactory, and tho dredge has now been turned back toward the proved ground. Argo (West Coast). —Last week, 460z. for 132 hours and 11,000 yards. Mossy Creek (West Coast). —Last week, 50oz. 18dwt. for 129 hours and 9884 yards. it MAORI GULLY RETURNS A quarterly statement of the Maori Gully Gold Dredging Company (West Coast) for the three months from October 1 to December 31, shows that tho 12 returns iu the peripd totalled 6200z. 3dwt., the average weekly return being 51oz. 13dwt. The net realisation was £4666, and the price an ounce £7 10s sd. The net profits for the three months was £3020 17s. WESTERN AUSTRALIAN OUTPUT The West Australian gold yield for January amounted to 55,8330z., valued at £513,284 in Australian currency. The output was 62390z. more than for the corresponding month of 1935, and 37970z. more than for January, 1934.
