REBUFF TO FASCISTS
OXFORD COUNCIL HALL FOR MEETING REFUSED LONDON. Feb. .-.Hi The Oxford Council refused the use of the Town Hall for a meeting of University Fascists at which Sir Oswald Mosley was to have been the speaker. The University's representative on the council said he had no objection to people playing about with silly little armies and salutes, but they. did not want a repetition of the scenes at the last Fascist meeting in the hall. He did not want to see the careers of young and excitable students ruined by them mixing up in free fights.
