GARDENING CIRCLE
Over 50 members of the Auckland Lyceum Club's gardening circle attended a picnic held ah the home of Mrs. J. Johnston, St. Heliers Bay, on Thursday. Unfortunately the weather did not permit of lunch being taken in the lovely grounds, but the large sun norch made an attractive setting for a nappy gathering. After lunch had been served, a meeting was held in the drawing room, at which Mrs. R. S. Whitley, convener, presided. The final arrangements for the decoration of a court to be held at the National Flower Show on Ellerslie Racecourse next month were discussed.
