MoCONACHY AND LINDRUM The New Zealand champion billiards player, Clark McConachy, arrived in Auckland by the Mariposa yesterday on his way to Hawke's Bay, his home province. McConnchy, -who was acompanied by Walter Lindrum, champion of the world, has just completed a successful tour of Canada and the United States, where the famous pair played numerous exhibition matches. Both players intend to visit Australia next year when a world's championship series will probably be held in Adelaide. During the trip through Canada Lindrum, especially, showed excellent form for, in addition to scoring several breaks of over 500, he established a new Canadian record of 893. McConachy's best break was 765.
