LAST PERFORMANCES TO-DAY Renowned for its wit and gaiety as well as its melodious lyrics "The Gondoliers" will have its final two presentations at His Majesty's Theatre this afternoon and to-night. Such songs as " Take a Pair of Sparkling Eyes," " There Lived a King" and others are part of every music-lover's knowledge and have given delight to thousands for many yfears. Such comic parts ns that of the Duke of Plaza Toro and the twin kings-are full of Gilbert's irresistible wit and never fail to keep the audience continually chuckling. The costuming is equal to that in any other of the Savoy operas and the settings in Venice have been fully appreciated by the present company. On Monday and Tuesday nights, with a matinee on Wednesday, " The Pirates of Penzance" will be presented. This, one of the most popular of the Savoy operas to be presented during the present season, was first produced in America. "Trial by Jury" will precede "The Pirates of Penzance," and it is interesting to note that, when first produced in London in 1875, this brilliant sketch ran for nine, months. "The Yeomen of The Guard" will commence'" next Wednesday night and will conclude on the following Saturday.' Next in order of presentation will be "lolanthe,-' "The Mikado," " H.M.S.
