DEATH ON MARIPOSA
MEMBER OF THE CREW Six hours before the Matson Line steamer Mariposa reached Auckland from Los Angeles yesterday morning the chief pantryman on board, Mr. P. Mietzel, died of His body has been embalmed and will be taken to America by the Mariposa for burial. Deceased was single, 29 years of age, and was born in Germany.
