ATTACKED BY SHARK
SCULLER SWIMS ASHORE BRISBANE, Fob. 20 Whilo the Queensland sculling champion, C. E. Slaughter, was training in a sculling outrigger on Brisbane Iliver, a 10ft shark savagely attacked the stern of his frail craft, which had filled with water by the time Slaughter reached the bank. When the outrigger was examined there were more than a dozen teeth marks on either side of the stern, which was splintered over a length of four feet.
