NEWS FROM WHANGAREI
Airs. W. G. MacKendrick, of Toronto, Canada, accompanied by her husband, Lieutenant-Colonel MacKendrick, passed through Whangarei after visiting Kerikeri and the Kauri Forests. They were accompanied in their tour by Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Ironsdale, of Howick.
Mrs. C. Brierly and the Rev. C. Brierly, the Manse, Hikurangi, are on a camping holiday at Mangonui. Miss N. Bird, of Napier, is on a visit to the Whangarei district, and is staying with her mother, Mrs. A. Drever, of Kauri.
Miss N. Drever, of Pahnerston North, is on a visit to Whangarei. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Robb, Morningside Road, Whangarei, accompanied by Mrs. E. A.- Vyle, of Otaika, Whangarei, are visiting Duncdin and Invercargill.
Miss Inez Melville, of Mount Eden, Auckland, who lias been visiting Whangarei, has returned home.
Mrs. T. C. Aickin, of Paparoa, is on an extended holiday in the South. Mrs. W. Kerr, of Otaika Valley, Whangarei, is visiting Parua Bay. She is the guest of Mrs. T. Porter. Mrs. J. Middleton, of Otaika, has returned from a visit to her daughter, Mrs. S. Poolman, of Otahuhu. The Rev. H. Sinclair and Mrs. Sinclair, of Paparoa, who have been visiting in Auckland for the past few weeks, have returned to their home. Mrs. \V. I. Deavoll and family, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. MacKenzie, of Tutukaka, have returned to their home in Wellington. Mrs. R. Laurie, Sea View Road, Whangarei, is visiting Auckland. Mrs! J. S. Woolley, Apirana Avenue, Whangarei, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Mark Hammond, of Kaitaia, are visiting Christchurch. Mrs. J. jVlacLeod, Cameron Street, Whangarei, has returned from a visitto the Auckland and Tauranga districts. Mrs. C. Clark, Mill Road, Whangarei, who has been on a visit to Deep Water Cove, has returned.
