WEDDING

SEABROOK—MASEFIELD The wedding was celebrated at St. Luke's Church, Remuera, last evening, of Miss Patty Masefield, only daughter of Mrs. M. G. Masefield and the late Mr. R. T. Masefield, of Auckland, to Mr. Robert B. Seabrook, of Hamilton third soil of Air. A. D. and the late Mrs. Seabrook, of Mount Albert. The Rev. J. A. Thomson, officiated and Mr. Zante Wood played the wedding music. Beautiful cream cactus dahlias and greenery were used to decorate the church. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. A. L. Jones, of Mangere, wore a charming frock of ivory cire satin cut on slender lines with long tight-fitting sleeves. The corsage and hem of the long oval train were appliqued in a Grecian design with satin and net. The waistline was finished with a belt of plaited satin with trailing ends, attached to which were sprays of orange blossom. The long veil of ivory tulle, which formed a second train, was arranged with a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a sheaf of white Easter lilies. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Shirley Jones, cousin of the bride. Her graceful frock of ivory stiffened tulle over taffeta was fashioned with triple shoulder frills, edged with ruchings of tulle, and a long silver lame sash. She wore a head-dross of scarlet velvet leaves and carried a sbeaf of scarlet gladioli. The best man was Mr. G. Fisher. Acting as ushers were Messrs. R. T. Masefield, R. Darling and M. Hammond. Following the ceremony a reception was held at Hotel Titirangi. Mrs. Masefield received her guests wearing a gracefully-trained frock of bluepurple crepe faille relieved with flat white flowers. She wore a hat of tulle to tone and carried a bouquet of white roses. Mrs. Alberta Carr, sister of the bridegroom, wore a frock of black floral crepe with a black ring velvet cape and a black velvet toque. Her bouquet was of gold roses. Mrs. A. W. Jones, grandmother of the bridei, was in a black chenille spotted georgette frock and a black hat. Her bouquet was of pink roses. Mrs. M. Darling, aunt of the bride, wore a navy and white spotted chiffon frock and a two-toned blue turban. She carried a bouquet of dark red carnations.
