PRESENTATIONS
A presentation to Mr., and Mrs. G-. S. Rush and family was made at a large gathering of Dargaville citizens and settlers. Mr. Rush, after 15 years' residence at Dargaville, where he had been editor and part proprietor of the North Auckland Times, is to leave for Eltham, where' he has acquired the Eltham Argus. The Mayor, Mr. F. A. JoneSj presented Mr. and Mrs. Rush with a canteen of cutlery on behalf or the citizens, while Mr. Rush also received a case of pipes from his men friends and Mrs. Rush a leather bag. from her women friends. At a meet" ing of the stewards of the Dargavilifj Racing Club Mr. Rush was presented by the president, Mr. D. Morice Grevill, with a gold-mounted fountain pen and pencil in recognition of the services he had rendered over a period of 14 years.
