LABOUR GOVERNMENT WESTERN STATE ELECTION PERTH, Feb. 17 The outcome of Saturday's general election in Western Australia is that the Labour Government's former majority of 10 has been reduced to three. The probable state of parties in the new House will be: Labour 26 Country Party . . • • National 9 Independent 1 One seat is still doubtful. Mr. J. J. Kenneally, Minister of Unemployment and Industry, has been defeated by an Independent candidate, Mr. T. J. Hughes, who contested tho seat six years ago as a Labour candidate. There will bo two women members of the new House.
