BUSY RAILWAYS
POSITION IN THE NORTH RESTORATION OF SERVICES [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI. Monday The North Auckland section of the railways has been particularly busy since the restoration of the service after the recent flood. This is accounted for by the accumulation of goods, wbi o the Auckland farmers' Freezing Cow pany's works a Moerewa have had a large amount of - frozen meat for ship' ment at Opua. Hundreds of tons o rock have been railed from the Taiiraroa quarry for filling in the weaken portions of the highways. The various dairy factories were also running shor of coal supplies owing to the disorganisation of the service.
