RESTORATION OF CUTS DECISION IN BRITAIN (Received February 16. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 15 The National Maritime Board announces £hat navigating and engineer officers of , the Mercantile Marine will have their wages increased 7} per cent on March 21. The increase is "not on economic grounds, but in recognition of their loyalty to the shipping industry" since the 1932 cuts in pay, which now will be restored.
