FOOTBALL CLUB DANCE
FUNCTION AT HINUERA Always a successful function, the Hinuera Football Club dance held in the hall recently attracted a large attendance, visitors being present from many districts. Confetti and streamer dances were included in the programme, adding to the gaiety of the evening. Novelty dances were won by Miss G. Walker (Waharoa) and partner, and Miss M. Carruth (Okoroire) and partner. Among those present were:—Miss E. Gubb (Auckland), Miss N. Hirst (To Poi), Miss F. Barron, Miss S. Lewis (Waharoa), Miss E. Goodwin (Okoroire), Miss M. Inman, Miss D. Chilton (Matamata), Miss M. Carruth (Okoroire), Miss I. Kinloch (Tirau), Miss J. Barron, Miss M. Hawke, Miss W. Edwards, Miss P. Mason (Taihoa), Miss V. Grubb, Miss M. Mason, Miss M. Seelly, Miss L. Lewis (Waharoa), Miss L. Roberts (Matamata), Miss N. Loveridge (Matamata), Miss L. Seelly (Hinuera), Miss Edwards, Miss K. Taylor, Miss H. Chilton (Matamata), Miss M. Tvrrell, Miss C. Pond, Miss E. Tyrrell, Miss M. Watson (Matamata), Miss 0. Smyllie, Miss F. Settle, Miss H. Watson (Matamata).
