LAUNCH SET ADRIFT
RECOVERED IN OPEN SEA OFFENCE ADMITTED BY BOY [from our own correspondent] RAGLAN, Saturday The releasing of the launch Wainui from her moorings at the Raglan East wharf resulted in a boy's appearance before the Raglan Children's Court yesterday charged with mischief. It was stated that the launch, which had disappeared from its moorings, was found drifting out at sea six miles beyond the Raglan bar. The vessel was recovered by Constable J. T. McGrath and her owners.
The boy, who admitted releasing the ropes which moored the Wainui, was admonished and discharged by the magistrate, Mr. S. L. Patersoii.
