RECOED ATTENDANCES PARADE AND RING EVENTS ADDITIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS [FROM OUR OWN" COBRKSPONDENT] PUKEKOHE, Saturday More than 12,000 people attended the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society's 51st annual show, which was held at Pukekohe yesterday and to-day. The attendance was a record, while the gate takings also reached a record figure, £442. This year both show days were fine, a happy circumstance which has not been enjoyed by tho society for almost a decade. To-day was " people's day," and a varied programme of ring events was presented. In the pageant during tho grand parade Mr. C. Atchison, of Clevedon, the veteran ring steward, acted as marshal. Leading the prizewinning dairy cattle was Mr. C. Bailey's Ayrshire cow, Bonny Glen May Roberts, which, following her success yesterday in winning first prize in the class for mature Ayrshire cows and then the breed championship, was to-day adjudged champion dairy cow of all breeds at tho show. " In the district court competition in the hall section, tho Tuakau Women's Institute secured first place and the Pukckoho Women's Institute second.
