COUNTY COUNCIL SEAT
THE MANUKAU VACANCY BY-ELECTION TO-DAY The by-election rendered necessary by the resignation of Mr. S. W. Rickards, one of the Mangere Riding members of the Manukau County Council, will be held £o-day. The candidates are Messrs. A. E. Traves and W. Wakefield. The polling places will be the Mangeie Central Public Hall, St. James' Parish Hall, Favona Anglican Hall, Mangere East Public Hall and the office of the council in Princes Street.
