BEQUESTS TO CHURCHES
SUPPORT FOR MISSIONS RECENT AUCKLAND WILLS A bequest of £IOO to tho trustees of the Church of England Central Fund is made in the will of the late Mr. H. G. Scth-Smith, barrister, of Auckland, which has been sworn for probate at £17,000. The sum is to bo used for home mission work and church extensicta in the Auckland Diocese. Under the will of the late Mr. John Fabish, of Auckland, probate for which has been granted, legacies of £IOO each are bequeathed to the priest in charge of tho Roman Catholic -Parish of St. Benedict, in which the late Mr. Fabish resided at the time of his death, and to the Little Sisters of the Poor at Auckland.
Sums of £lO each to the Foreign Mission Society of the Methodist Church and the Methodist Home Mission Society are provided for in the will of the late Mr. George Peace, retired coachbuilder, of Mount Eden.
In addition to the estate of the late Mr. Seth-Smith, others of a value of £IO,OOO and more for which probate has been granted aro: — William Sleightholmo Lamb, Furramurra, Sydney, gentleman, £32,000. Elizabeth Storrev Seagar, Auckland, widow, £IB,OOO. Michael Joseph Sheahan, Auckland, land and estate agent, £16,000. Leonard Stephen Kelly, Auckland, signwriter, £13,000. John Maynard Stokes, Auckland, company secretary, £10,01)0. Rita Rachel Kelly, Auckland, widow, £IO,OOO.
Alfred Langham Foster, Auckland, surveyor, £IO,OOO. Horace Samuel Elliott, Auckland, gentleman, £IO,OOO.
