Mrs. P. Barry has returned to.Gisborne after having spent several weeks in Auckland.

Miss Mona Brian, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. W. A. Gunn, Omahu Road, Remuera.

Miss Winnie Barns-Graham, of Gisborne, is the guest of Miss Alison Pearce, Hobson Street, Wellington.

Mrs. Douglas Sherwin, of Matamatsv, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Hill, The Drive, Epsom, has returned home.

Mrs. R. S. Williamson, of Benson Road, Remuera, will return to-morrow from a visit to Palm Beach, Waiheke Island.

Mrs. Charles Martyn, Mountain Road, Mount Albert, who is staying at Cockle Bay, will return home on Monday.

Mrs. J. M. Hall, Maungakiekio Avenue, One Tree Hill, has returned to her home after spending a holiday at Hotel Titirangi.

Mrs. J. C. Whitney, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, who has been staying at the Wairakei Hotel, will return to Auckland to-morrow.

Madame Humphry Stewart, Vauxhall Road, Devonport, who has been spending two months on the Titirangi ranges, has returned homo.

Mrs. D. Kent, Remuera, and Mrs. G. S. Kent and Miss J. Kent, of Epsom, who have been staying at Hotel Titirangi, have returned home.

Mrs. Donald Mac Donald and Miss Mac Donald, Victoria Avenue, Remuera, who have been spending several weeks in Wellington, have returned to Auckland.

Mrs. H. E. Perry and Miss Elaine Perry, of Christchurch, are spending a few days in Devonport as the guests of Mrs. J. N. Waddell, of Vauxhall Road.

Mrs. Neil Walker, St. George's Bay Road, Parnell, who is at present staying with her mother, Mrs. D'Authreau, of Devonport, will leave by the Mariposa on Friday to take up her residence in Sydney.

Mrs. Martin Cock, late of Remuera, and of Kaikorai, Dunedin, who, with her small daughter Frances Margaret, arrived in England two years ago, has decided to take up permanent residence there. She is living at The Well House, Appledore, Ashford, Kent.

The Onehtinga branch of the Women's Christian Temperance Union met on Thursday in the Methodist schoolroom, Miss McLay, Dominion organiser, taking the devotions. The president, Mrs. Mountjoy, was elected delegate to the Dominion convention, and Miss Caughley was elected assistant to Mrs. Bickle, the cradle roll superintendent.
