Bloodworth and his socialistic, "shorter working hours friends seem to lose sight of the fact that there is 110 fund from which the labourer can bo paid lor his labour, save that which he, bv his labour, creates or produces. Ibis .being the fact, perhaps he will see the folly of reducing working hours, which are already inadequate to provide sufficiently for the workers of the country, hence the poverty. F. A. Carlisle.
