LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE H. REEVE NEW CHAMPION fBY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] PALMERSTON NORTH,, Friday Harold Peeve, the challenger, secured a points decision over Pay Nicol, of Invercargill, in a light-heavyweight championship bout at Pahiatua tonight. It was a case of a good little man boating a good big man. Peeve was a stone lighter and inches shorter in reach. Nicol, using spoiling tactics and making poor use of his reach, kept the fight very close and not until the 11th round was Peeve able to find a longrange target. From then on Peeve had much the better of the fight and won by a narrow though decisive margin. He had Nicol down for a second earlier in the fight. There was a packed house and the new title-holder was enthusiastieallv acclaimed.
