PORTION ON MAUNGANUI LETTERS FOR WELLINGTON [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Fridnj The Wellington portion of the air mail which left London on January 26 is due at Wellington by the Maunganui on Monday.
The Auckland portion of the mail was previously understood also to he on the Maunganui, but it is .possibly on the Monowai, due here on Monday afternoon. Postal officials stated last evening that the air mail which left London on February 2, and should also have reached Sydney in time to be placed on the Monowai before she left Sydney yesterday afternoon, was delayed, and probably had missed the connection. It is not yet known by which vessel it will bo forwarded.
