RODNEY COUNTY
HALF-HOLIDAY CHANGED [from our own correspondent] WELLSFORD, Thursday At a special meeting of the Rodney County Council held this week it was unanimously decided that the halfholiday for shops throughout the county area shall be on Saturdays, instead of Thursdays, as at present. The various sports organisations in the county have been endeavouring to have Saturday proclaimed as the halfholiday and organised a strong deputation to the council. Saturdav has been tho half-holiday in the Warkworth Town Board area for some time and now the whole of the county will have a uniform half-holiday.
