NEW HEADMASTER
BOYS' SCHOOL AT HAVELOCK [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION) HASTINGS. Thursday Mr. J. D. H. Buchanan, M.A., B.Sc, of Timaru, has been appointed to the headmastership of Hereworth Boys' School, Havelock North, succeeding Mr. H. E. Sturge, who died recently. Mr. Buchanan took his B.Sc. degree in New Zealand and his M.A. at Pembroke College, Cambridge. He is an old boy of Christ's College, where he was head of the school, and a member of the first fifteen. In recent years ha represented South Canterbury at cricket.
