BIBLE IN SCHOOLS
INTEREST IN THE WAIKATO [FItOM OUB own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday A record of progress,. over several years was reviewed at the annual meeting of the Hamilton branch of the New Zealand Bible-in-Schools League. The secretary, Pastor J. Salisbury, reported that, owing to a combination of circumstances, there had not been a meeting for the election of officers since the inaugural meeting in 1927. The interest in the work in Hamilton had been sustained by the Hamilton Ministers' Association, which had been administering the Nelson system very successfully in the town for some years. The following officers were elected:— President, Mr. J. 11. Fow; vice-presi-dents, the Rovs. H. G. Gilbert and S. J. Atkins, and Messrs. E. V. Stace and A. Anderson; secretary-treasurer, Pastor J. Salisbury; committee, the Revs. H. T. Peat, F. A. Parry, J. Dennis, F. J. Hayman and R.. Sea ton, Adjutant Bridge, Mesdames C. M. Jones, T. H. Pearson, G. K. Clark and Stephenson Craig, the Misses Stubbs and Scotter, and Messrs. T. H. Pearson, \V. T. Coad, G. E. Clark, J. Ballard and 0. L. Cato.
