Wednesday It was announced to-day that Mr* Henry Holland, acting on medical advice, had reluctantly decided to withdraw his "candidature for the Christchurch North seat, which hie hsidi held since 1925. The seat will now fa, contested for the Government by Holland's son, Mr. S. G. Holland, Mr. H. Holland, who will be '76 yeai* of age next month, has not enjoyed very good health since early lastj August, when he fell down a flight of! office steps in Christchurch and suffered shock, slight head injuries and fraotures of a collarbone and several ribs..
