FISHING RESTRICTED
HIGH WIND AT TAUPO FEW ANGLERS ON LAKE [by telegraph—own correspondent] TAUPO, "Wednesday Very few anglers ventured out on the lake to-day, as a strong south-west wind, with scattered showers, made conditions unfavourable, and the only fishing was in the sheltered bays inside Rangatira Point. Likewise, rough water at the mouth of the Waitahanui Stream forced anglers to sheltered spots upstream, where catches were not as good as those obtained recently at tho mouth. The weather is fine and it is hoped that the wind will abate somewhat before to-morrow.
