• i" «•> COMPLIMENTARY SOCIAL As a recognition of her willing assistance and co-operation at many functions over a period of years, a complimentary social and dance was tendered to Miss Margaret McKenzie in the Ritz Cabaret, Rotorua. Arrangements for tha evening were in the hands of a committee comprising Mesdames McArthur, B. M. Green and A. Pyman, and the Misses A. Brackebush and M. Mactier, assisted by the Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson, and members of the Rotorua Borough Council. The first half of the evening was devoted to a concert presented by leading artists of the town, assisted by the Rotorua Municipal Band, and at the conclusion of the entertainment dancing was held. During the evening the Mayor, on behalfi of the residents of Rotorua, paid a tribute to the valuable help Miss McKenzie had always given to musical functions. The guest of honour was presented with a shower bouquet of Dutch irises by Miss Mactier. Among those present were Mrs. A. Pyman, Mrs. B. M. Green, Mrs. Mc-. Arthur, Mrs. R. Copeland Smith, Mrs. J. D. C. Duncan, Mrs. S. H. Hay, Mrs. E. Robertson, sen. Mrs. W. A. McLean, Mrs. A. C. Randerson, Mrs. H. Bertram, Mrs. Kingon, Mrs. H. Langguth, Mrs. A. G. Holland, Mrs. It. Griffiths, Mrs. E. B. North, Mrs. L. Bayfield, Mrs. W. Mathieson, Mrs. Wier, Mrs. F. Doidge, Mrs. Shearer, Miss J. Pearce, Miss M. Mactier, Miss A. Brackebuah, Miss M. Gresham, Miss P. Galbraith, Miss D. Kingon, Miss E. Murray, Miss A. McKenzie, Miss J. Bertram, Miss L. Wynne, Miss J. Wallace, Miss Keith, Miss E. Anoni, Miss R. Holland, Miss F. Bates ; Miss B. Johnson, Miss B. Holland, Miss K.Hall, Miss E.
