MERCURY BAY OPENING [from ouk own correspondent] MERCURY BAY, Tuesday The Mercury Bay Bowling Club held its annual opening in conjunction with the Ladies' Croquet Club on Saturday in delightful weather. A large number of visiting bowlers from Coromundel was present. After short speeches Mr. W. Sticut played th© first bowl and Mrs. «T. G. Browne, preai dent of the croquet club, played the flrst ball.
