SCHOONER WRECKED
CREW SWIMS TO SHORE SYDNEY, Oct. 25 The schooner Pearl was caught in a heavy swell off the entrance to the Clarence River and washed on to the beach. She soon became a total wreck and the crew of lour swam ashore. The Pearl, which is of modern design, was built in New Zealand and sailed to Australia.
