OYSTER CULTIVATION

PROPOSAL FOR AKAROA The proposal to "establish oyster bedfc in the Akaroa Harbour remains indefinite, states the Star-Sun. Christchurch. The Chief Inspector of Fisheries, Mr. A. E. Hefford. after inspecting sites for the location of oyster beds, stated he had been unable to obtain ail the information he was seeking.
