FRANKTON QUOTATIONS BEEF SLIGHTLY EASIER GOOD DEMAND FOR BACONERS [FROJI OUR OWX CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Tuesday The fat sheep pens were again well filled at the Frankton saleyards to-day. Competition was hardly as keen as at late sales, with the result that prices were inclined to be easier. An average yarding of hoggets sold at about equal to late rates. There was only a medium yarding Of ox beef, with a good entry of cow and heifer beef. Values were inclined to <ase slightly, although competition remained lairly steady. Two heavy prime fat bullocks sold on account of Mr. D. E. Finlayson, of Tuhikaramea, realised £ls 10s and .£l6 ss. An extra heavy yarding of fat piss was penned, the market remaining very firm throughout. Values were particularly good for all good quality baconera. Light sort# also showed an improvement.
