ANNUAL MEETING HELD ELECTION OF OFFICERS Members attending the annual meeting of tho Real Estate Institute of New Zealand in Wellington re-elected Mr. J. G. Harcourt, Wellington, as president. Other officers elected were: —Vicepresidents, Messrs. 0. F. Baker (Canterbury), H. E. Vailo (Auckland); council, Messrs. H. G. C. Ernest, G. B. Osmond, S. W. Rickard (Auckland), C. E. Hoy (Canterbury), C. D. Cox (Hawke's Bay), E. W. Win (Nelson), P. W. Stabb (Otago), T. G. Lawless (Poverty Bay), T. P. Crowe (South Canterbury), J. T. Carswell (Southland), Allan Evans (Taranaki), G. S. Boyes (WaikatoK H. J. Duigan (Wanganui), A. A. Gellatly (Wellington). It was shown by the report of tho examinations committee that to date 160 had passed the institute examinations. The report expressed the hope that tho examinations would bo held annually. Moving the adoption of the annual report, Mr. Harcourt made a strong appeal to members to assist in strengthening tho membership of tho institute.
