SUDDEN COLD SNAP
FROST IN BAY OF PLENTY [by telegraph OWN correspondent] WHAKATANE, Tuesday A sudden severe cold snap set in yesterday. A heavy hailstorm fell at Ohope Beach, and a lighter one at Whakatane. A frost was experienced inland.
