FARMER'S LEG BROKEN HALF-MILE CRAWL TO HOUSE [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, As the result of being kicked by a cow, which he was milking in a bail, Mr. Frederick James Cossey, a farmer, aged about 6p, of Harris Street, Pukekohe, suffered a fractured leg early this morning. Mr. Cossey had to crawl about half-a-mile to his house before he could attract attention. He was attended by Dr. H. Stewart Douglas, of Pukekohe, who ordered his removal to the Auckland Hospital.
